Creates complete humanized passes.
Get started with Litura.
Install the studio, add its local models, and move from a draft to a reviewed final document.
Install Litura
- Visit lituraai.com/download and choose your platform.
- Windows: open Litura's official Microsoft Store listing, then select Install.
- macOS: download the signed and notarized package, open it from Downloads, and follow the installer.
- Open Litura. The full trial lasts 5 distinct days on which you use the app; no account or card is required.
Use only the Microsoft Store listing or macOS package linked from the official download page. A separate .NET installation is not required.
Complete first run
The opening walkthrough explains Litura's local-processing boundary, its two AI components, and the core revision loop. Choose the recommended model setup, or install only Humanizer and add Deep Repair later from Models.
You can skip the tour and reopen it later from About & support.
Install the local models
Adds contextual repair, alternatives, and advanced guidance.
Litura verifies every download before use. If a check fails, open Models and choose Repair. Downloads can be resumed after a lost connection; removing a model does not remove documents.
Revise a document
- Write or import plain text or Markdown.
- Run the local AI-writing assessment and inspect the passage and sentence views. It is guidance, not proof of authorship.
- Open Humanize, select a setup, and generate complete alternatives.
- Use Textual Harmony to compare the draft with built-in or personal reference writing.
- Finish in Final Review, where the immutable source stays visible as you accept, edit, restructure, or reject changes.
- Save the Litura project, then export DOCX, HTML, Markdown, or plain text.
Activate or recover a licence
After purchase, save the signed .lituralicense file from the delivery email or your account. While connected to the internet, select Licence in Litura's top bar and choose that file. Activation is required once per computer; validation then works offline indefinitely. When connected, Litura checks whether the computer is still active so removals made through your account take effect. One licence supports three active computers, which you can manage from your account.
If the file is lost, use About & support → Recover licence or sign in to your account with the checkout email. Never send a full licence key or payment-card details to support.
Connect Codex
- Open Agents in Litura and select Preview setup for Codex.
- Review the executable and proposed configuration, then select Apply setup.
- Run Health check and restart Codex so it reloads the local connection.
The Codex client may receive text you explicitly open through the workflow and may handle it under its own provider terms. Litura's MCP server remains a local process rather than a hosted network service.
Update safely
Windows: Microsoft Store installs and updates Litura. Store servicing runs separately from your documents, settings, licences, models, reviews, and agent sessions.
macOS: Litura downloads eligible updates in the background. Save your work, then choose Restart for update when it appears. Your local work and settings remain separate from the application installation.
If an update fails, keep using the installed version, restart your computer, and retry. Litura does not silently replace a working version with a failed update.
If a release must be withdrawn, Litura uses a newer signed corrective release. Do not manually install an older package over a newer version.
Recover work
After an unexpected shutdown, choose a checkpoint in Recover your work. It opens as an unsaved copy and cannot overwrite a newer saved file. Compare it, then save it under the name you want.
For other problems, open About & support to copy diagnostics or export a privacy-safe support bundle. The bundle excludes document text. Email it to hello@lituraai.com.
